Ksenia Solo

Ksenia Ksenia KseniaKsenia Solo is a Latvian and Canadian actor. She comes from a large family of musicians in Riga. She won several Canadian awards. This includes the three Gemini Awards. Ksenia is the only Canadian actress to receive two Gemini Awards in a row. Solo has a training of classical ballet and is a versatile actor. She is most well known for her role as the edgy "Veronica," who plays a rival role to Natalie Portman's 'Nina" in the 5 time Oscar nominated film Black Swan, manipulative and unstable 'Holly' in the film Pet, Dominic Monaghan in the psychological thriller Pet as well as the young and innocent 'Lucy' in Maria Bello in In Search of Fellini. Solo is lauded for her capacity to play a variety of roles in television, including her character of Kenzi in Syfy's fantasy-noir hit Lost Girl. She also played the real-life socialite Peggy Shippen and her husband in the historical drama of AMC, Turn to Washington's Spies.
